It looks like sidelined Beady Eye guitarist Gem Archer may be back at it this fall. The band took to Facebook Sunday to tell fans that Archer is doing well, and may even by fully recovered in time to join the rest of the band for a string of shows in November.
Archer was hospitalized earlier this month when he reportedly fractured his skull after falling down a flight of stairs in his home. But the band says he's expected to make a full recovery over the next few weeks, and they're "buzzing" about getting back to work in time to start a U.K. and Ireland tour on November 7th in Dublin. All of Beady Eye's August gigs, meanwhile, have been canceled, including their scheduled appearance at the V Festival this past weekend.
Archer's wife Lou also used social media this weekend to update fans on her husband's condition. She tweeted that Archer's progress is "slow and steady," but called him a "tough cookie." Lou Archer also confirmed that Gem's former Oasis bandmate, Noel Gallagher, has sent his regards, adding, quote, "Of course he has!"
